Mandarin For Adults

Designed for busy adults who are looking into starting or improving their Mandarin levels in small intimate classes, learning practical Mandarin that can be used daily.

This course is comprehensive, including fluency, literacy, pinyin tools, aiming for the most effective way to boost your Mandarin abilities. Teachers will assess adults’ levels (total 6), customize personal needs to make sure your Mandarin learning objectives are met!

Beginner 1 Level:

Suitable for students who has taken between 0-80 hours of Mandarin.

Suggested Learning Time: 144 hours.
Suggested Frequency: Twice a week for 12 months or 3 times a week for 8 months.
Containing 15 Modules: Numbers, Jobs, Months and dates, Transportation, Time, Address, Name, Greetings, Family members, Daily routines, Appearance, Clothes, Nationality, Extra-curricular activities, and Languages.

Beginner 2 Level:

Suitable for students who has taken between 120-200 hours of Mandarin.

Suggested Learning Time: 144 hours.
Suggested Frequency: Twice a week for 12 months or 3 times a week for 8 months.
Containing 16 Modules: House and rooms, Appearance, Articles in the house, Hobbies, Daily articles and accessories, Making appointments, Food and drinks, Holiday plans, Seasons and weather, School facilities, Illness, School subjects, Pets, Daily routine, Neighborhood, and Vegetables and fruits.

Intermediate 1 Level:

Suitable for students who has taken between 240-320 hours of Mandarin.

Suggested Learning Time: 144 hours.
Suggested Frequency: Twice a week for 12 months or 3 times a week for 8 months.
Containing 13 Modules: The Mid-Autumn Festival, Shopping Eating out, My relatives, The Dragon Boat Festival, Personalities, Celebrating Chinese New Year, Household chores, Asking for directions, Keeping pets, My holidays, Birthday celebrations, Traveling in China, Family relationship.

Intermediate 2 Level:

Suitable for students who has taken between 380-480 hours of Mandarin.

Suggested Learning Time: 144 hours.
Suggested Frequency: Twice a week for 12 months or 3 times a week for 8 months.
Containing 13 Modules: Celebrity, Chinese food, Role models, Health and diet, Future studies, Modern diseases, My dream, Modern technology, Travel in China, Leisure and entertainment, Summer course, Volunteer work, China and the Chinese language and Environment

Advanced Level:

Suitable for students who has taken between 500-650 hours of Mandarin.

Suggested Learning Time: 280 hours.
Suggested Frequency: Twice a week for 24 months or 3 times a week for 16 months.
Containing 18 Modules: School and education, Environment, Young people, Volunteer work, Relationship, Festivals and celebrations, Charity, Entertainment, Social networking, Customs, Learning technology, Culinary diversity, Urban life, Travel, Concept of beauty, Recreation, Learning styles, Internet, Modern technology

Booster For Near Native:

Suitable for a near native speaker to boost vocabulary in news, current affairs, new thoughts and innovations in China. Video shows and talks are used to boost vocabulary quickly.

Containing 12 Modules: Social media, Social relationships, Identity, Environment, Customs and traditions, Innovations, Chinese etiquette and values, Leisure and entertainment, Health and well-being, Cultural diversity, Communication and media, and Globalization.

Group Class of 1 teacher leading 1 to 3 adults
Minimal packages of 10 classes， each 60 minutes @480 HKD (valid within 3 months)
Bulk packages of 30 classes, each 60 minutes @430 HKD (valid within 6 months)
